The first time my realtor & I met with the contractor manager, Jerry, she explicitly told him that the property had 90-95% weed instead of grass & the HOA would get on my ass. He promised 6 treatments & if the issue wasn't resolved, they would put new grass. I returned home to another state; only to received violations for excessive weed removal & irrigation water. Finally, after going back & forth about the weeds, I was told that I have to cut the weeds every 2 weeks & they'll treat it until July. Hopefully, the weeds will die & the grass will grow. (I'd love to see that) There are some prickly weed trees all over which stick you when you walk on the so-call lawn. I closed on Feb 28th & i have never seen the contractor manager; Jerry, again; not even to assist with changing the keys. After receiving 1st warning, I spoke to Jesus, the Warranty Field Mgr & he promised to change the schedule that they had in place. I received a 2nd water violation for $100 a few days later. I had stop packing & flew back; only to receive the bill in the mail. I was given a copy of an email stating that the schedule was changed & I went to the police station with the bill & email printout; only to be given proof by the officer that the irrigation system was on during unscheduled days. I'm having issues with the flooring upstairs because when you walk, there are spaces under the carpet in certain areas. There's also weird odor; (gaseous) coming from the kitchen pantry which is at the corner close to the AC unit which is outdoor. I'm waiting for someone to come & inspect it today. I shouldn't have to waste $284. for 1 way to return to address violations & promises. I strongly believe I shouldn't be paying to remove weeds. A new homeowner should be given a lawn with grass & then the owner should maintain it afterwards. Jerry CANNOT face me because he knew what he said & he's nowhere around. I don't like to complain but sometimes I have to speak up. I should be reimbursed for my roundtrip flights & my other expenses. I SHOULD BE FINISH PACKING, REPAIRING & PREPARING TO RENT MY HOUSE & DRIVING TO MY NEW HOME WHICH I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO.
