I called the home warranty department and my requests were ignored- very very unhappy. I followed up with the super, [name removed], and he fixed my requests even though I was in the timeframe I should contact the warranty department and not him. He has been very helpful.

What I like most was what came after my purchase. There has been some minor issues that needed following up on my home and the project manager didn’t hesitate to make himself available for anything and handle any phone calls to set up appointments for any thing that need repair such as a seal around a faucet and shower spout.

Construction of our home was delayed due to approval of permits. Additional communication regarding timeframe and the delay would have been appreciated. Once construction began, all dates were reasonably met. The overall timeframe pushed approximately 3 months. [name removed] and [name removed] were great to work with from the start. Both were very responsive.

There is a very strong feeling that Landsea does not want to stand by their product or work. We have had on-going issues with our AC since we moved in, in April. We also just recently found out that our Dryer vent was put in improperly (it was essentially crushed). We had to have it repaired at our own cost of $300 by a competent third party. This was a fire hazard and also could have damaged our Dryer. From my perspective, as a buyer, Landsea cares very little about their homebuyers. The homes are nicely designed however the build quality from the foundation to the dry walling to the interior cabinet finishes is poor and lacks oversight, quality control. I would not recommend Landsea to anyone. Actually, I would stear people away from buying a Landsea home.

Our experience overall has been good, we had a few issues arise in the one year of living here, but [name removed] has been very proactive in resolving those issues. I would recommend [name removed] and this community to my family and friends.

I liked how responsive the sales team was with us. Any questions we had for [name removed] were quickly addressed. The other representatives within the closing team were also great at responding back quickly and assisting us. One thing that we didn’t enjoy was that when we did the initial walk through of the home, majority of the items that were highlighted within that walk through were not taken care of in time for the final walkthrough. We had to come back to the home 2 days after again to verify that the main issues were handled.

Warranty is a mess. Every-time someone comes to my home for a warranty request, the information is wrong creating more warranty requests. Do you honestly think I want people in my house repairing things that should have been completed before I closed, on a weekly basis? It is such an inconvenience for the homeowner. [name removed] lacks consideration! My house is not in great shape. Everyday I find something wrong because [name removed] decided to cut corners. I’d never recommend [name removed] to even my enemies.

There were so many issues from contract to move in. Elevation information was wrongly provided which led to 1st contract termination. The preferred lender NFM is very inefficient and the rates and closing cost was bumped up to negate the discounts. All appliances provided were different from the agreed in the contract without any information provided. The kitchen backsplash was not done on the side of the walls, not explicitly brought during design studio meeting. Closing experience was not great at all.

Given that we purchased an executive home. The standard features and landscaping is poor. [name removed] and [name removed] are amazing. [name removed] and [name removed] person [name removed] were poor service. I was disappointed in our purchase and experience.
