Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Everything is fine, but some of the sockets in the rooms do not turn on, the shutters and gates do not open and close easily. I will be happy if you pay attention to this part.And there are corners of the nailed carpet that hurt our feet every time, it would be better to install it properly.

Like: [name removed] has been amazing at helping us and making sure our home feels like our home. He's friendly, kind, and real with us regarding all the things happening here. Both my fiance and I have loved working with him since we met him. Dislike: [name removed] and [name removed] (at first impression and email, though he's redeemed himself as of late). [name removed] not only talks down to you as if you're not intelligent, but has the audacity to treat our RE agent (whom is good friend) with disrespect. Only when I told her her tone and use of language wasn't a good look did she adjust - slightly. [name removed] had a horrible first impression from the start. He was accusatory and rude when we showed up for an appointment we made with your booker through online and text. Luckily, we have really good friends that live in the area, otherwise, we might have gone else where. The email that tells us when our appointment is absurd. Treat people like adults that are spending well over $600,000 with your company and ask if they are available - and please update that email template. [name removed] though since has been kind, warm and helpful in many ways. It really shows the character that young man has to here a critique and own to it and adjust.

This is our second home purchased from Century Communities, and the only reason we chose to move forward with this particular deal was because of [name removed]’s professionalism, honesty, and integrity. While we’re happy with our first home, our experience with the sales team during that process was disappointing and left us frustrated. Working with [name removed] was a completely different experience — her transparency and care made all the difference.

It was a quick and easy process, [name removed] (century salesperson) was very helpful from the very start and was there every step of the way, big shoutout to him, he was always nearby the phone and helped me with any and all questions. I liked that I had no time wasted and everything was done ASAP. [name removed] who helped us with our home walkthrough also pointed out a lot of the house flaws for us and really helped out a lot as well! We thank the century communities team and would recommend this builder to anyone we know looking to buy a home!!!

Construction delays were tough for me but the team was communicative and responsive. When I had issues, they were met and resolved quickly. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to help, when asked.

Seller agent is not proactive/informative I need to ask questions instead of the agent feeding me information that I need to know. There are lots of miscommunication from the In house lender and that made this a stressful transaction. It will be better if the loan officer have different approach on getting the documents needed. House turn over is ok but it is ideal to have some hand out documents for home warranty, HOA information, utility information and other things. I need to find out how to get my mailbox key. I didn’t even meet the sellers agent to properly turn over the house because we has relocated. [name removed] made excellent service! He went above and beyond his job to make sure that we feel that he takes good care of us. This is not my 1st home purchase and my comment is based on my 1st and 2nd home transaction. Century is ok company but not great.
