Roof leak shortly after moving in, and had to question the quality of the house. Inferior appliances. even in DelWebb where I previously lived for about 20 years had the best possible quality appliances, so, that was disappointing. One positive experience was the quick response to fix the leak, and all the other issues that came up. Beautiful clubhouse, pool area and all the rest of the amenities are great!

We love our new home, and we were satisfied with the construction process. We were very pleased with the sales staff, [name removed]; the excellent interior designer; superintendent, [name removed]; and especially our master care rep, [name removed], after move in! We were very disappointed with not being offered “no-see-um” screens. We would have chosen that option! And the interior caulking is messy, and floor tile grout is not always smooth with tile edges.

I appreciate that [name removed] kept me informed from the moment I signed the purchase agreement. Every step along the way until move-in. My building supervisor [name removed] introduced himself to me early on and explained the entire process from start to finish. He made himself available every day during my move in to ensure any issues were addressed immediately. He pointed out areas that needed to be fixed that I didn't notice. I appreciated his keen eye for detail. He offered suggestions and ideas to improve my home and had contact information when I asked for help. I also found my MasterCare person, [name removed], to be a great resource as well. She pointed out additional areas in the home that needed attention like the scratches on my sliding doors. Both of them worked closely together to get the final repairs scheduled and completed. This is my second home purchased in the [name removed] and I found this experience to be even better than my first!

He kept me updated from the very beginning to the very end when we moved in and then beyond. Went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the progress of our new home. [name removed] is absolutely amazing. Responsive, competent and professional. I’m in the industry and she’s the best. She was able to take over a bit of a mess and really come through and do what she promised. [name removed] however is exactly the opposite, [name removed] would say things were complete and when I would arrive from out of state, nothing was done or touched. [name removed] was not helpful and was unwilling to assist and see the work through. In addition on multiple instances [name removed] left my home completely unsecured, and I only knew because a neighbor had mentioned it to me and I saw on the cameras. There’s much more, but there is no sense now. [name removed] was one of the worst experiences I have had on any real estate related project. Minto is excellent, but having a representative like [name removed] hurts their reputation significantly. [name removed] did make up for the shortfall and is excellent.

I dislike some of the products, -the floors I selected are a level 5 upgrade although they're not a quality product. They're weak and stain easily which I would not have expected at a level 5 upgrade. -I'm also disappointed with the lack of cleaning that was done when we moved in, there was residue from tape on the floor, dust everywhere and the windows were dirty. I would have expected the entire house to be spotless at this price point. -I'm confused as to why the dining room lightbox (Jbox) is not centered in the dining room space for a dining room table? We need to have an electrician move the Jbox so we can center the chandelier over the table. This is an additional expense that again we should not incur at this price point. -the kitchen counter has a lot of defects and if a vendor sent it to me I would have turned it away, its not at all close to the sample in the design center and does not flow continually. It's a man made surface with poor quality control. I would not have expected this poor quality from Minto -The outside lighting on the garage is not easy to access when changing light bulbs and since the villas are so close together the neighbors outside (front entryway) light shines into our home and master bedroom planting a tall tree or plant would have helped or having them on a timer (just a thought) What we like are the vendors, MasterCare ([name removed]) and general contractors ([name removed] and [name removed]) they have been wonderful to work with and very responsive. We love the community and look forward to more mature trees over the years.

I disliked tha fact that we needed to get warranty involved. While they have done a great job helping to address things, the missing insulation, poorly designed HVAC, horrific paint job, and the rest of the small details that make a new home so desirable were badly missed.
