I like that my issues are solved in less than a few days. The only thing I dislike is that I understand it’s a new community and lots of homes are being built. The home which is currently building beside me has messed up my side yard and the concrete residue is spattered on my side windows. They need to take care of this.

[name removed] and [name removed] were fantastic agents. Professional and understanding. The only thing we disliked was how we were somewhat pressured to move in earlier than we wanted to due to having a newborn and not being ready to move with a 2 month old. And it would’ve been nice to begin our 30 day warranty period after we actually moved into the house! [name removed] was very understanding of our situation and helped us the best he could with the rules that were placed onto him from your greedy corporate who don’t meet homeowners or actually care about us.

Sales reps are good. But unfortunately, service people are not good. For example, many items are not covered by In-Warranty and service rep is pretty rude to customers.

It was a pleasure to work with [name removed] and [name removed]. They always responded to our needs quickly and tried their best to resolve any issues. What I didn’t like was the quality of kitchen cabinets paining job. They weren’t sanded enough to make it soft and the brand new soft close hinges were all painted.

My warranty manager always very responsive on my concerns and have addresses the issues I brought up quickly. The customer care team always follow up to make sure my requests were closed completely. I don't like there is a very small file size limit on the warranty request form. I can't even upload a photo from my iphone, and it takes me a extra step to communicate the issue with the warranty service manager.

My experience from contract through move-in was very very smooth. Both [name removed] and [name removed] were really helpful. Both answered all my questions, helped me in all the ways they could have during the process. Any issues during the closing was completely addressed by [name removed]. They are the best and I'm glad that they are part of Southgate Team.

I like my sale manager is really helping me to make the floor plan and lot selection. He always try to understand customer need and leverage his experience to make sure I make the right selection. He suggested me the best lot selection and exterior design. He is always available for me to discuss any of my concern. During the construction process, my original stone selection became unavailable. The sale manager quickly discussed my options and adjusted my selection. Awesome customer service! My construction manger is also very responsive for all my questions and addressed my concerns. I don’t like the floor plan doesn’t have many customized options. I would like to see more options, like adding an additional interior door, 2nd dish washer. I also have a bad experience in the design center. The designer I worked with is not knowledgeable on the product and the pricing. I heard many times she has to say “I need to check and get back to you later”, but I have to meet the set date to finalize my decision. The design studio is not well organized as well. I have to go every places to find all the product I can select from.
