Our Sales Representative, [name removed] was wonderful. She put us on her list and stayed in touch from choosing our lot to completing our A’s list and contract paperwork. We only wished that she was there until the end of our process at move in but since the last phase was winding down fast she was no longer there. Our B list Coordinator whose name I forget was also excellent to work with. [name removed] our Sr. Superintendent was amazing from start to completion of our home. He always sent weekly emails with updates and photos. He was great to work with, flexible and very knowledgeable and thorough. The closing company, [name removed] [name removed] Fl was a great team to work with! Always available when we had questions. And [name removed] with Master Care had been very helpful. And can’t forget [name removed] who was the ambassador we always saw at the models and assisted us during our New Home Celebration Day. We’ve had a great overall experience! Fins Up!

Almost always able to promptly reach someone to explain questions that inevitably come up, and [name removed] seems to genuinely care about resolution of any issues we have. There's honestly not much to dislike (really do feel like we're living in paradise!), but sometimes the wait seems a little excessive, but certainly not terrible.

We feel the sales rep ([name removed])was not honest, misleading us with an unrealistic closing date forcing us to sell our home earlier than necessary, incur unrecoverable rent & storage expenses AND providing updates saying [name removed] was ahead of schedule threatening penalties of $200 a day for every day WE were not ready to close! Our original closing window of Jan-April was not possible as ground wasn’t even broken until DECEMBER 26. We were told that would happen in the months of Sept/Oct. We were also misled on the start because we were told our roofmate (or lack of same) was not a factor in the start of our construction. Which she later admitted it probably was a cause for the delay. What I can say positively is our builder [name removed] who went out of his way to meet us with our requests along the way. The house itself turned out just as we planned. Very pleased with the construction.

Overall I could not ask for more. Any concerns we have had were investigated and corrected. We believe that Minto/Mastercare want to resolve any and all issues. My Dryer was left unconnected and never installed correctly . After six months it was finally fixed , but we were shocked that the vent was never hooked up. Our oven was installed correctly and after eight months we had electricians install another outlet. We like [name removed] and overall we are happy with our purchase. Would we purchase from [name removed] again? I'm not sure...

The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the number of plants out front and the lack of a small palm tree that I requested. We went in to pick our B’s. The first time we ever saw any options. We sleep on our decision and contacted our designer the next day to change something and she said it’s too late. It was minor but to us it was a big deal.

We love the community layout and amenities. The biggest challenge was getting the lot and house completed correctly (I would put that on our builder [name removed] and his lack of attention to detail). We just finished our last construction/pre-close issue and are still working on a yard issue. We are excited to have the house completed, but it took almost 1 year after closing to get it here.

Liked 2yr warranty like my Master Care person the contractors have been great to deal with. When I moved in the house should have been pest controlled already. I had a swarm of fire aunts that bit me and my dogs. I have a video and it was crazy. I had to order medicine at 3 in the morning because my throat was closing up.

I am only disappointed in the maintenance and upkeep of my lawn. I realize that Minto has little control over the HOA but when I have dead grass and weeds everywhere. It doesn't reflect very well on Minto who basically says it has nothing to do with them.

Not a very clear explanation about the down payment & deposit requirements when including a pool. This resulted in a downpayment of greater than 25% to be held in escrow the entire build process which we found excessive. At closing, some of that was returned to us (we used a mortgage) but Minto held lots of our cash for the entire build process. Also, shortly after selection our B options, we changed the cabinets in our kitchen to L4 vs L3...to this date (June 2025, after closing in Nov 2024), we STILL do not have all the proper upgraded (L4 vs L3) cabinets installed in our house. The paper work for ordering parts NEVER reflected the contract change we paid for the upgraded cabinets. Lastly, in general, the builder communications were not terribly great and issues got pushed onto our Master care Rep after settlement rather than fixed prior to closing. Unique to us in Phase 8: due to neighbor behavior, all of northern Phase 8 was locked down during the build and we were prevented from seeing the house (without a Minto rep) during the final months of the build. This was NOT done to prior phases, despite Minto's legal authority to do so. We felt this was wrong to punish everyone and impacted our ability to identify issues during the final build stages - in fact it was **US** that discovered the wrong cabinet door installation DURING THE BUILD, and it's STILL not fully resolved. We identified numerous issues to the builder via our visits in process. Perhaps more issues could have been proactively resolved during the build had Minto not done this and penalized everyone in Phase 8 North.

My Likes ... Master Care representative "[name removed]" goes above and beyond to address any issues which the client he represents may have. He always has a warm greeting, a hearty handshake and friendly disposition. The corrections and repairs he oversaw were handled expeditiously and without a re-occurrence of the same issue. [name removed] has also offered assistance in getting things done even when not in his area of concern. He is the very very force keeping me from selling and moving. My dislikes/distrusts/disdain/dissatisfaction about [name removed] Communities and my Minto-built home are way too many to list ... but that has nothing to do with the stellar attention to detail and servicing that I receive from master care.
