He provided weekly updates, videos, and resolved every issue with customer-focused attention as if this were his own home. Everything went very smooth from start to finish.

Sales office mislead us on several things, we were told yard maintenance is part of dues which have gone up twice in a year. More yard maintenance is done at sales center and now Stay & Play than we get as residents. Sales center makes it all sound so good but do not mention how HOA is actually run .

too many different contractors for the home. Its confusing to know who is responsible for what. The trim guy is different than the door guy and the cabinet guy. I DO like that [name removed] and the Mastercare team keeps trying to improve. My trim along the floors was not done very well. It was worked on but really needed to be done completely over to look like the quality I expected.

Communication is poor and the turnover in staff unbelievable. In the first 6 months of ownership we have had 3 or 4 mastercare reps and no one has notes information on what has been approved and what has been completed etc. A system needs to be in place for when staff leaves get fired.

My only "complaints": 1) Sales staff said construction would take 11 months but it turned out to be only 6 months which created challenges for me and my retirement plans. 2) It would have been greatly appreciated if even the smallest changes could have been entertained (add internal insulation for noise reduction between rooms, additional cutout/shelf in master shower). It is not practical for me to go back and add these features now.

There were a couple of times where I had to escalate to more senior Minto leadership group for help resolving issues which were, in my opinion, legitimate rationale for builder responsibility's to fix but general Minto management did not authority to make those type of decisions. I did like that senior Minto leadership really listened to my feedback and suggestions for remediation and took action to resolve to my satisfaction so the end results restored my trust and faith in Minto standing behind their work and will get things done right but I believe there should be a little more decision making authority given to general Minto management to make the overall customer experience more enjoyable particularly if not a significant cost impact to increase Minto’s reputation as being one of the best builder’s in the area.

The upgrades are dated some tiles and flooring are cheap I hv put those in my rental homes …all levels not just L1. They don't have customer service for things that went wrong after moving in. We moved in mid December 2024-now May 23-2025. We have had 5 items that needed to be fixed. 1) Outside facet-finally fixed 3 weeks ago. 2) Sliding doors-Very hard to open/close. They came out 3 times and finally last week they fixed it. 3) Crack window-still is not fixed. 4) Bathroom-Water Closet light does not work-loose connection-fix 1 month ago, went out again and still needs to be replace. 5) Kitchen Cabinet are uneven in one section-Still as of May 23 not fixed.

I have no issues with superintendent or supervisor. I just feel that given the price we pay for the homes. They are built a bit cheaper than they should be. Quality products are just not used in these homes. My yard has been bad ever since I’ve moved in so I’m not sure why that is. I have reported more than once that my sprinklers do not work. I’ve never seen them come on. Again this is not about the people who was assigned to me. This is more to do with the materials used to . I have reported my sprinkler system not working since I moved in. I’m not sure if that’s why my yard looks like it does or not but I have not once seen the sprinkler system come on the whole year. I’ve been here and have reported that more than once. [name removed] has been great to us, and [name removed] was great in the building process.

Like: the foreman, [name removed], is easy to work with. He keeps me informed from beginning to the end of construction process. He's very initiative correct any problem that occurred. Dislike :The top and bottom of the sliding door out to the porch has big holes and gaps allows 40+ frogs to get inside of the house. The [name removed] temporary plug in with sticking tape to stop from frog get in. I feel that sliding door need to be replaced with no Gap sliding doors.

It was disappointing on quality of some of the trades such as cabinets, but problems were addressed. Home inspection shows areas missing attic insulation, roofing issues, and poor quality of mortaring of tiles which we hope will be resolved.

Our building supervisor, [name removed], accommodated our requests to visit as often as we could during the build which we were very appreciative of. Our sales agent, [name removed] allowed us to walk thru the sales center to start looking at samples for our B options prior to our B options date, this was very beneficial for us to be able to see what options were available. It would have been very difficult to see the B options for the first time and try to pick them all in one day, so we were very grateful to be able to see them ahead of time

Minto should operate like other companies and allow people to choose lots when they sign up for homes. The communication has to be better.

Loved that the construction was transparent at different stages. Builder went above and beyond to correct issues identified. Worked with us to correct a "splash" of gunite on our lanai from the neighbors pool install that could not be removed.
